A new ERASMUS+-project is born – YMOCH – Young meets Old Culinary Heritage. Project partners from Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Austria, Ireland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Germany travelled 13/14 October 2022 to Wageningen/NL for the kick-off meeting.

We want to bring together young and old people on the purpose of cooking and create an online cookbook with old and new recipes. The project coordinator is a VET-school from Veliko Tarnovo/Bulgaria and Blankcon, a NGO from the Netherlands will take over the project management.

During the first meeting we got to know each other, discussed the work packages, the responsibilities, different tasks, our communication and dissemination strategies and, of course, the planned results of our project. According to the topic of the project, we created an international lunch with regional food from the countries of all project partners.

After two days of many interesting and pleasant talks we all went home with some homework and will meet again virtually in the mid of November. We are very grateful tob e able to work together and look forward to a successful project 😋.
